Table Of Contents

  • 1. Work with stakeholders to document management's intent and agreement on the risk-mitigation strategies
  • 2. Involve stakeholders from I&O, the business, legal and compliance to meet business requirements associated with balancing speed and risk
  • 3. Leverage Gartner's Pace-Layered Application Strategy to better balance the need for enablement and speed with the time needed to mitigate risk
  • 4. Identify risks and corresponding mitigation strategies in IT and enterprisewide
  • 5. Move from excessive risk aversion toward improved detective and corrective controls, to improve time to production
  • 6. Use automation to improve process speed, consistency and auditability
