Impacts and Recommendations

  • An increased demand for projects driven by cloud, mobile and emerging requirements puts pressure on the ICC to deliver more concurrent streams of work with the same resources, resulting in project delays and missed business opportunities
  • A change in application development practices toward iterative and agile methodologies will require the ICC to take a more adaptive approach to integration delivery
  • Multiple teams outside the ICC and central IT are increasingly addressing integration, which, over the long term, will increasingly render the ICC irrelevant
