Summary

Global IT spending will be $3.7 trillion in 2014, up 2.1% compared with 2013, but down from our 1Q14 forecast of 3.2%. Price pressure in devices, data center systems and IT services and more competition, little product differentiation and the availability of alternative solutions are to blame.
