Gartner forecasts a 7.1% annual spending growth between 2014 and 2018, with pay-TV services taking the lion's share. Yet, the subscription- and transaction-based video-on-demand services will also increase their contribution to the total market spending, from 5.7% in 2014 to 8.5% by 2018.
