IT spending for financial services continues to grow at a healthy rate across geographies. This report presents five-year forecasts across regions for IT budget components (hardware, software, internal and external services) and major segments of the financial services industry (insurance, banking/credit and securities/commodities brokerage). These forecasts are intended to assist IT solution providers in quantifying market opportunities in the vertical markets of the financial services arena. Further, this document serves as a quantitative backdrop to other Dataquest deliverables aimed at enabling vendors to target market areas of highest growth and to recognize, and ideally capitalize on long-term revenue opportunities. The report also presents some of the primary findings in terms of financial services expenditure and sets out some of the key trends to emerge from Dataquest's research in financial services markets around the world.
