End-user spending will decline from $243.0 billion in 2015 to $217.6 billion in 2019 (current U.S. dollars), due to competitive pressure and substitution of fixed voice services. Data spending will fall, despite growth in bandwidth needs, due to migration to lower-cost, higher-speed services.
