Through product development, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and reseller arrangements, Geac/JBA provides back-office and front-office applications for mid-tier and larger enterprises. The System21 suite of back-office applications, with software for financials, manufacturing, distribution, customer service, and service management, serves as the backbone for other partner-offered applications. Complementing this offering is the Geac/JBA Active Enterprise framework, which is designed to enable customer relationship management, supply-chain management, business process modeling, and e-commerce. Geac/JBA continues to focus on select vertical markets, including apparel, footwear, textiles, food and drink, automotive component manufacturers, and electronics assemblers. While it maintains consistency in its target markets, the vendor wavered somewhat on platform support, but Geac/JBA now focuses entirely on the AS/400 market with System21.
