Summary

This report provides an overview of all semiconductor product groups (memory, microcomponent, logic, analog, discrete and optical) analyzed by Dataquest's Semiconductors Group. The data include actual production by supplier and consumption by region and applications for 1998 and 1999. The forecasts included in this report contain assumptions made on future market developments through 2004. Product definitions and a complete disclosure of methodology used in data collection and forecasting are provided in the appendices.
