Competition for OSS has created new competitor models designed to offer more comprehensive solutions addressing multifunctional needs of service providers. Network equipment providers are packaging OSS solutions with their hardware offerings. Software vendors are engaging in partnerships to enhance their value proposition. Previous point solution vendors are expanding their offerings, branching out in new OSS spaces to create more encompassing solution sets. In the context of the latter, this Perspective analyzes the new, expanded solution set of Objective System Integrators.
