Consumer spending on communications services will grow at a compound annual growth rate of 1.9% through 2019, reaching $1.16 trillion. Decreased spending on fixed communication services (at the rate of −0.6%) will be offset by the increase in spending on mobile services, which will grow by 2.8%.
