BlackBerry has announced its intent to buy enterprise mobility management vendor Good Technology in mid-September 2015, further solidifying its focus on high-security mobility solutions. EMM leaders should determine whether the BlackBerry/Good Technology combination is right for their organizations.

  • By year-end 2016, Good Dynamics and Wrapping Server will replace the BlackBerry Secure Work Space
  • Good Technology customers can keep their EMM solutions in the short term; however, Gartner believes they will need to migrate to a combined BlackBerry/Good-based EMM solution in 2017
