Summary

Soft device demand, ample inventories and fluctuating currencies have had a stifling effect on the 2015 semiconductor equipment market. And the uncertainty continues into 2016, with expectations of another down year at negative 4.7%. Spending for 2016 is expected to be about $59 billion.
