  • To keep the costs of data growth from spiraling out of control when transitioning to cloud storage, I&O leaders must hire staff to handle data management, archiving, retirement and deletion
  • The responsibility for storage forecasts, budgets, services, contracts and availability remains with I&O leaders, regardless of the data's location
  • I&O leaders who do not manage their storage and data won't be able to optimize their applications or create tactical and strategic plans for storage and data management
