Applix reduced its muddled selection of office automation, customer relationship management (CRM), and online analytical processing (OLAP) product lines into an integrated analytical CRM suite called iEnterprise. iEnterprise is a Web-based e-business solution with iSales, iService, and iCustomerInsight modules. The solution is accessible through a range of clients and can be configured for customers, partners, and employees. The operational CRM functionality is strong in customer service but has limitations in other areas. Adding analytical functionality to the CRM suite, however, provides a competitive edge over traditional CRM vendors.
