CSC's Eagle Alliance Wins NSA Deal

The United States government's National Security Agency (NSA) awarded Project Groundbreaker to the CSC-led Eagle Alliance, a joint venture with Northrop Grumman's Logicon. Groundbreaker is a 10-year outsourcing contract worth more than $2 billion if all options are exercised. The NSA conducted feasibility studies and managed competition over the past two years before announcing the contract award on 31 July 2001.
