The U.S. FDA recently passed the most significant reform of U.S. food safety laws in 70 years. The FSMA "Sanitary Transportation of Human and Animal Food" Final Rule requires most manufacturers, distributors and transportation providers to adopt new procedures governing food shipping by April 2017.
