Gartner predicts spending in public cloud services will reach $246.8 billion in 2017, an 18.0% increase in U.S. dollars (18.5% in constant currency). Growth rates are expected to decline slightly through 2020, when spending is forecast to reach $383.4 billion, with a five-year CAGR of 16.5%.
