Based on Gartner survey data, millennials and women in mature markets are the largest user group for smartwatches, sport watches and fitness trackers. However, these devices have high drop-off rates, which presents a challenge for leading smartwatch vendors Apple, Fitbit, Garmin, Huawei and Samsung.
