Gartner predicts spending in public cloud services will reach $245.4 billion in 2017, a 17.4% increase in U.S. dollars (19.1% in constant currency). Growth rates are expected to decline slightly through 2021, when spending is forecast to reach $436.4 billion, with a five-year CAGR of 15.9%.
