CISOs are already struggling to hire and retain the right people. Growing team size and the emergence of new roles mean that Information Security can no longer take an impromptu, gut-driven approach to talent management. Small security teams may not be hiring, but they are at the greatest risk of attrition, so they must improve staff development and engagement.
