Analyst(s): Applications Research Team
Corporate IT functions are no longer monopoly suppliers of the interfaces used by employees to access corporate data and systems. This presents an opportunity, however, for Applications and Enterprise Architecture teams to improve enterprise productivity by developing robust integration and security services that enterprise data and systems as well as external resources to a more diverse set of front-end interfaces. Applications and Enterprise Architecture teams can use this work to guide integration strategy and architecture development, as well as improve the IT function's ability to provision data in response to rapidly changing enterprise demands.
