Awareness programs mock-phish employees to educate them to recognize, report, and resist phishing and spearphishing attacks. These exercises are an experiential learning tool for teaching employees what to look for in a phishing attack and can shock them into realizing how vulnerable they are to social engineering attempts. This guide reports member experiences and recommendations for conducting mock-phishing exercises, as well as an educational email template that can be sent to employees.
