P&G's PMO for Global Business Services uses new product development and marketing principles to identify, test, and launch project management services. It targets a significant percentage of these new services at project managers rather than simply focusing on serving stakeholders. Rather than positioning all of the PMO's activities as project management services, P&G uses a step-by-step approach to proactively surface customer needs and vet candidate services before broad roll out.
