Transparent Delivery Handoffs (U.S. Department of Justice)

Analyst(s): Applications Research Team

The Department of Justice recognized that handoff delays between delivery teams and other functional partners to exchange information or work deliverables hinders speed-to-market, especially for new project types where handoff requirements and timing are unclear. The Applications team maps handoffs for different project types and streamlines them in collaboration with functional partners. For each project, the delivery team documents handoffs as user stories and motivates partner adherence by tracking them in a shared project dashboard.
