  • VMC will provide a way for I&O leaders to move on-premises vSphere-based workloads to AWS data centers, while preserving existing VMware-based infrastructure and management capabilities
  • VMC enables more flexibility for I&O leaders, leveraging AWS infrastructure to spin up and spin down vSphere hosts on demand, and shifts costs from fixed capex to flexible opex
  • VMC gives I&O leaders low-latency connectivity to AWS's native offerings, facilitating integration with applications running on AWS
