Customer advisory boards are a great source of ongoing customer feedback, but many companies fail to hear their customers’ perspective clearly because their advisory boards function more as a sales and promotional vehicle than as a tool to drive customer understanding and focus. This research will help with selecting an effective group of customer advisory board participants, and creating participant guidelines and enabling support conducive to meeting the group’s goal.
