Summary

To boost performance in today's corporate environment where the only reliable constant is change, organizations must build employee capability. Major organizational change has become more frequent (up from 1.75 to 3 per year—in just three years), and half the time, it results in failure. In addition, change-stressed employees perform 5% worse than the average employee. We identified the five components of employee capability, as well as strategies to effectively increase overall performance in a changing environment.
