The typical manufacturer spends 50% to 60% of its revenue on suppliers, while service companies spend upwards of 40% of their revenue on suppliers. Such dependency can result in significant marketplace and economic benefits for manufacturers and service firms that develop and maintain collaborative working relations with their suppliers.
