Fifteen members shared their views about how IT organizations manage incidents that are the most severe or critical and require immediate attention and swift remediation. Members provide an overview of their situation management teams: how they are structured, where they are located in the enterprise, and how they are staffed. They also provide insights into situation management in action, including when and how teams are activated, communication around ongoing incidents, the scope of situation managers' responsibilities, and criteria for success in critical incident management.
