Twenty-four members share views about the agents that their organizations use on desktops including the number of agents running on respondents’ standard desktop Windows PC builds, how respondents handle version upgrades for those agents, usage of security agents on standard desktop PC builds, including the specific security agents they run and whether they keep their desktop file encryption products turned on at all times if they pre-boot authentication on all devices and/or if they allow users to write to unencrypted removable media devices. Members also provide an overview of practices for benchmarking the effects of desktop agents on their organizations’ devices.
