This summary contains input from thirty-two members regarding applying robotic process automation (RPA) bots to business processes that are subject to regulatory frameworks. We begin this summary by examining members’ RPA landscapes, including what tools they use and what business processes they automate. We then look at members’ RPA governance, including controls established to ensure governance of bot actions and arrangements with external auditors to track, trace, and validate bots. We conclude with members’ approaches to change management when implementing RPA.
