This summary contains input from thirty-seven members regarding their experiences with enterprise agile planning tools. We begin the summary with an overview of how members are currently leveraging agile practices for application development and the frameworks they use to scale up use of agile methodologies within their organizations. We then discuss the enterprise planning tools members use, the ability of these tools to help share development of portfolio across organizational groups, and the benefits and challenges of using these tools. Next, we examine the tools’ reporting capabilities at both the senior management and agile team levels, as well as on the financial progress of product portfolio and roadmap. We close the summary with a look at the state of enterprise-wide adoption of agile planning tools in member organizations and the approaches members are taking to increase adoption and alignment.
