Summary

The two main criteria to judge a supplier’s value as an innovation partner are the degree to which: (1) they are innovative; and (2) their goals are aligned to your needs. Given that supplier innovativeness can be subjective, we suggest evaluating suppliers against hard metrics such as total idea pipeline and output success.
