Mondelēz set out on a transformational journey to create a superior supply chain to produce all of its power brands. This created a supply chain with a significant number of SKUs, formats and formulas. The result: a fragmented supply base, including subscale plants and low-efficiency assets. This presented a huge opportunity to reinvent the supply chain.
