Over the last decade, CSCOs have successfully joined the boardroom table. Approximately two-thirds of CEOs now view supply chain as strategic to the company and a quarter of CSCOs influence corporate strategy. In this webinar, Prof. Dr. Bram Desmet proposes the role CSCOs should play in strategic planning (choosing a competitive advantage) and maximizing shareholder value (optimizing return on capital employed). By moderating strategic and operational trade-off decisions to balance growth, efficiency and increasing complexity across the company, the CSCO is best positioned to directly impact the "bang for the buck" provided by a company to investors.
