Gartner Invest recently attended the Brooklyn 5G Summit. Many countries will roll out 5G in 2019 and 2020, which will drive mobile infrastructure to growth. But questions remain around operator preparedness for Phase 2 of 5G, for which technologies such as SDN/NFV and edge computing must mature.
