This summary contains input from forty-five members on their approaches to scaling agile in their IT organizations. We begin this summary with an overview of members' adoption of agile practices – the timeframes when they first implemented and then began to scale agile practices, and the extent to which they have embraced agile practices in their IT organizations. We then discuss the strategies members use to gain buy-in from their senior leadership to scale agile. Next, we examine the roles and teams that members form to lead agile practices, the ways in which these roles and teams are empowered, and the frameworks that members use to scale agile. We also study members' partnerships with external agile service providers and the extent of their satisfaction/dissatisfaction with these providers. We close this summary by highlighting members' best practices on scaling agile.
