Manufacturing IT spend will shrink by 15% in 2020 to $509.6 billion due to the impact of COVID-19. Reprioritization of IT investments to ensure business continuity will delay previously planned digitalization programs. IT spending will grow again from 2021 to $674.2 billion in constant U.S. dollars in 2024.
