This Consult the Board survey summary features inputs from 22 members regarding their implementation strategies for platform as a service (PaaS). It examines members’ PaaS adoption level, cloud providers, and security concerns associated with PaaS implementation.
What is members’ cloud PaaS adoption rate and how are they addressing PaaS-related security concerns?
Half of the respondents (11 of 22, or 50%) have fully implemented PaaS in their organizations.
An equal number of respondents (6 of 20, or 30%) each deploy “less than 10%” and between “10% to 24%” PaaS in their overall cloud infrastructure setup.
Respondents’ security concerns with PaaS are typically linked to access management, endpoint security, bring-your-own-key (BYOK) encryption, and traffic management.
