  • Employee experience, something somewhat lacking in previous years but increasingly in demand, is now broadly supported by all vendors in this research, and some vendors are delivering robust levels of this capability.

  • Recruiting, compensation planning and performance management received the highest average ratings, suggesting that the associated functions are more likely to be native to cloud HCM suites than deployed via third parties.

  • Workforce planning is much more likely to be deployed by third-party vendors than to be native to cloud HCM suites, with the provision of robust workforce planning a differentiator in this market.
