Hybrid work has pulled employees apart from their teams, managers and organizations, with only one in four hybrid or remote knowledge workers reporting they feel connected to their organization’s culture.
While employees supported diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) efforts in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and racial injustice movement, two out of five employees feel alienated by their organizations’ DEI efforts.
Organizations rely on collective accountability to make leaders feel committed to and responsible for moving DEI forward. However, this has not resulted in significant or sustained DEI results.
