More than half of organizations (57%) increased leadership development spend from 2021 to 2022. Just 13% of organizations decreased leadership development spend — down from 24% in 2021.
HR leaders currently provide tools, guidance and development programs to build leader skills and capabilities. Three-quarters of organizations provide data on employee voice (e.g., to identify ways to improve the employee experience), and a similar proportion provides guidance for navigating conversations with employees on sensitive topics.
