This 2-minute Consult the Board survey summary features inputs from 20 Gartner Research Board for Global CIOs and Technology Infrastructure Research Board members regarding the implementation of the PBR or a similar organizational model in their IT organizations. It examines the organization’s maturity level, duration of using the model, and methods employed to measure the success of the PBR model.
Are members using a plan-build-run (PBR) organizational model and how are they measuring its success?
The majority of respondents (14 of 20, or 70%) do not use the PBR or a similar organizational model in their IT organizations.
Among the six respondents (or 30%) using the PBR or a similar model, almost all (5 of 6) have been using it for more than five years.
Most respondents (4 of 6) exhibit an experienced level of maturity regarding the use of the PBR model in their IT organizations.
