Andrew Neff is Research VP and Invest Analyst in the Technology and Service Provider group at Gartner. Mr. Neff covers the IT hardware sector, which includes client devices (PCs, tablets and mobile phones), servers, storage (including hard-disk drives) and printers.
Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Neff was a technology research analyst covering primary IT hardware (PCs, servers, storage, iAppliances). He had variously followed semiconductors, software, services and other adjacent industries. He also started/ran the Bear Stearns Technology Conference. He was selected as Institutional Investor All-Star for 16 years and as Wall Street Journal All-Star for nine years. Mr. Neff is noted for predictions of HP-Compaq merger and Apple's shift to Intel architecture.
