Brad LaPorte helps companies with tools and strategies to prevent malware infections, data breach mitigation, and threat intelligence programs. As a Research Senior Director with Gartner, Mr. LaPorte is responsible for all topics related to the Endpoint Protection Platforms ("EPP"), Endpoint Detection and Response ("EDR"), and Threat Intelligence ("TI"). He helps companies implement best practices for preventing data breaches, evaluating strategic technologies, vendors and solutions as well as being able to negotiate the best possible deal.
Before joining Gartner in 2019, Mr. LaPorte served as a military officer in information technology and intelligence, worked as a senior leader and product manager for endpoint solutions at Dell SecureWorks and IBM. Some highlights:
