Brian Lee is an Advisory Leader with CEB, now Gartner's Legal and Compliance Practice. He currently oversees the advisory teams that cover legal, compliance and data privacy issues for General Counsel, Chief Compliance and Ethics Officers, and Chief Privacy Officers of both large and mid-sized companies. In addition, he oversees CEB, now Gartner's RiskClarity solution, which assesses a company's culture and identifies (and predicts) potential misconduct within that company.
Before leading the advisory team, Brian was a Practice Leader with the practice, overseeing the Compliance, Data Privacy and RiskClarity programs. In this capacity, he was responsible for the programs' overall research agenda, strategic vision, and advisory and research products.
In his 13 years at CEB, now Gartner, Brian has led a number of qualitative and quantitative research initiatives on a wide range of legal, compliance and privacy department issues, including risk assessment and management, department strategy and effectiveness, training and communications, and building an ethical corporate culture.
I was an attorney, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and debt financings, and general corporate matters. In addition, I was involved in counseling financial services company on a wide range of cyberbanking and e-signature issues.
