Ed Cordin is a Director in Content Strategy. His work revolves around guiding and shaping Gartner's Research content portfolio and research methodologies with specific focus on end-user expert advice.
From early 2013 to late 2017, Mr. Cordin held the position of Research Director within the Technology and Service Provider team. From 2000 through 2006, Mr. Cordin was a Director in Gartner Consulting, where he was Practice Lead for Marketing and Business Strategy with a focus on partnering, due diligence and growth opportunity assessment. Prior to rejoining Gartner in 2013, Mr. Cordin was responsible for leading selected U.K. and Western European practices focused on growth opportunity assessment, go-to-market, vertical insights and sales enablement at IDC. Before his most recent years in the business information and advisory sectors, he worked at IBM and Intergraph in sales and business development roles with a focus on new product introduction and channels. Very early in his career, he also assisted in the introduction of advanced manufacturing technologies in the automotive industry.
