Ed Holub is a Managing Vice President responsible for the I&O Leadership team of analysts. He also provides broad coverage for the IT infrastructure and operations (I&O) role with a focus on organization, staffing, culture and other people, process and strategy-related issues involved in enhancing I&O maturity.
During more than a decade at Gartner, Mr. Holub also served as agenda manager for IT operations research, a Leadership Partner acting as a trusted advisor and coach to senior I&O executives in large organizations as well as a Managing Vice President leading a global team of analysts covering virtualization and cloud infrastructure technologies and management processes.
Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Holub spent 17 years in IT infrastructure and operations at USAA, a Fortune 200 diversified financial services company. His experience at USAA included executive-level positions responsible for E-commerce operations, operations architecture, enterprise systems management, QA/testing, server management and desktop management. Mr. Holub also served as product manager as USAA's internal IT department was successfully transformed to run IT like a business.
