Emmett Fitzpatrick applies Communications Leadership Council best practice and research insights to member companies' mission-critical priorities. Examples of projects that he has supported include developing a corporate narrative, reorganizing a communications function, aligning communications activities with corporate objectives, and creating a crisis communications plan. Mr. Fitzpatrick works with communications executives from a wide variety of industries across the world.
In his role as Senior Associate Director of Donor Engagement at the University of Chicago, Mr. Fitzpatrick directed communications strategy in support of the University's $4.5 billion capital campaign. Prior to joining the University of Chicago, he led communications for The First Tee of Greater Chicago, a youth development organization, and served on the staff of Barack Obama's 2008 presidential campaign.
