Mr. Baron has also held the positions of CIO, head of marketing, head of product, and senior strategist at companies ranging from startups to Fortune 100 enterprises. Ephraim brings wide range of IT and financial experience, with a strong focus on applying technology to address business challenges and opportunities. He holds three engineering degrees as well as an MBA.
Prior to Gartner, Mr. Baron focused on product development & marketing, cloud economics, and ISV-to-SaaS migration for technology service providers. His emphasis was business-led technology strategy at companies including EMC, Equinix, and Taos. Before that, he held senior IT leadership roles at companies including HP, Microsoft, and Barclays. His industry experience spans aerospace, high tech, finance, and insurance.
